SubSlot for iOS · Last updated 1 August 2026

SubSlot does not collect your data. There is no account, no bank login, no email access, and no analytics. Everything you track is stored on your iPhone, and optionally in your own private iCloud. We never receive a copy of it.

1. Who we are

SubSlot is developed by SubSlot ("we", "us"). This policy covers the SubSlot iOS app, including its widget and its Mail share extension.

2. What is stored on your device

The following is written to local storage on your iPhone (Apple's SwiftData framework) and to an App Group shared with the widget and share extension. It stays there:

  • The subscriptions you track — name, amount, currency, billing cycle, renewal date, category, notes and trial status.
  • Your settings — base currency, reminder time, and whether reminders are on.
  • A snapshot of exchange rates, so totals still work offline.
  • Your answers in the keep-or-cancel review.

3. What leaves your device

One thing, and it contains nothing personal:

RequestSent toWhat it contains
Exchange rates, at most twice a dayapi.frankfurter.dev (European Central Bank reference rates)Only currency codes, e.g. base=USD&symbols=EUR,GBP,SGD. No subscription, amount, device or user information is included.

That is the complete list of network requests the app makes on its own behalf.

4. What explicitly does not leave your device

  • Receipt screenshots. Text recognition runs on-device using Apple's Vision framework. Images are read and discarded; none is uploaded.
  • Receipts you share or paste. Parsed on-device by the app and the share extension.
  • Your subscriptions and amounts. We operate no server that could store them.

5. iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, your subscriptions sync between your own devices through Apple's CloudKit, in your private database inside your own iCloud account. That storage is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and counts against your iCloud quota. We have no access to it — we cannot read, export or delete it. Turn it off by signing out of iCloud or disabling iCloud Drive for the app; the app then keeps working on-device only, and Settings shows which mode is live.

6. Purchases

SubSlot Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple handles the payment and tells the app only whether an entitlement is active. We never see your name, email, card or billing address. We use no receipt server and no third-party purchase analytics.

7. Notifications

Renewal and trial reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent through a push server, so no notification content passes through us.

8. Tracking and advertising

None. SubSlot contains no advertising, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK and no tracking of any kind, so it does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission. We do not sell or share data, because we do not have any.

9. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.

10. Your rights

Rights such as access, correction, export and deletion (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and similar) normally require a request to the developer. Here they are immediate and in your hands: your data is on your device. Export it to CSV from Settings, edit or delete any entry in the app, and delete all of it by deleting the app (and, for synced copies, by removing the app's data from iCloud in Settings → your name → iCloud). We hold no copy to return or erase.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the previous versions remain in the app's public repository history.
